ESAN Conference

ANNUAL CONFERENCE

The main interaction forum for members is during the annual conference which is hosted by higher institutions across the country. In addition to presentation of papers by guest speakers, members also use the occasion to present their research activities in small groups known as parallel sessions. The conference usually takes place around September every year. Below is a list of conferences organised by ESAN since 2005:

(a) 22nd Annual Conference of the Nigeria English Studies Association (NESA) held at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, 7 – 10 September, 2005.
(b) 23rd Annual Conference of the Nigeria English Studies Association (NESA) held at University of Ilorin, Ilorin 31 October – 4 November, 2006.
(c) 24th Annual Conference of the Nigeria English Studies Association (NESA) held at University of Uyo, Uyo, 18 – 21 September, 2007.
(d) 25th Annual Conference of the Nigeria English Studies Association (NESA) held at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, 24 – 27 September 2008.
(e) 26th Annual Conference of the Nigeria English Studies Association (NESA) held at Tai Solarin University of Education, Ijebu-Ode, 20 – 22 January 2010.
(f) 27th Annual Conference of the Nigeria English Studies Association (NESA) held at Covenant University, Ota, 2 – 5 November 2010.
(g) 28th Annual Conference of the Nigeria English Studies Association (NESA) held at University of Benin, Benin City, 24 – 28 October 2011.
(h) 29th Annual Conference of the Nigeria English Studies Association (NESA) held at Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, 9 – 12 September, 2012.
